Jonny V’s BBQ Announces Grand Opening of New Downtown Council Grove Location

Pitmaster Jonny V, a Le Cordon Bleu–trained chef, is bringing his Houston, Texas–influenced BBQ and soul food to the heart of the Flint Hills with the grand opening of Jonny V’s BBQ at 15 N. Neosho Street in downtown Council Grove.

For years, Jonny V’s has built a loyal following through its successful catering business and packed popup events at The Dealership Building. After hosting a couple of softstart weekends to welcome the community into the new space, the familyrun restaurant is now ready for its official Grand Opening on Friday, June 19th. Guests can expect the same quality they’ve come to love — lowandslow smoked meats cooked exclusively over oak wood, scratchmade sides, and a welcoming atmosphere shaped by the Talib family.
